Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a powerful communication approach which provides a clear and effective model for communicating in a way that is cooperative, conscious and compassionate, even in highly challenging situations. It is based on two fundamental principles:

  • self-responsibility
  • compassion and loving kindness

With NVC we learn to focus on our own deeper needs and those of others rather than on judging and diagnosing, so that we can identify more clearly how to manage difficult and crucial conversations in the daily business of life.

Women and Leadership

More women are needed in leadership positions.  Having women in top management positions has a positive influence on the financial success of organisations, as research confirms. Even where there are opportunities for women to advance, too few capable and experienced professional women respond. This is even the case when the systems and processes are in place.  What is holding women back? We believe that for many women, self-confidence plays a role.  Not a lack of confidence in their intellectual capacity or professional expertise.  The professionals capable of reaching leading positions have bags of this already.  But some lack the ability to speak up and stand out!  These are concepts which, even in the 21st century, go against the grain of deep social conditioning.

Leadership development for women needs to be “identity work”.  Professional women need to see themselves as leaders as well as be seen by others as such.

To meet the needs of women executives, we have designed a development programme, just for women, to become more courageous in leading themselves to lead others.

Personal development work requires a safe environment and supportive peers. Our small group approach led by professional women leaders and coaches provides just that.  We are launching our latest programme this spring in Stockholm.
